Ingredients (serves 12 people)
- 1 Egg White, whisked
- 1 teaspoon Water
- 3 cups Pecans
- ¼ cup Honey
- ¼ teaspoon Sea Salt
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon Cloves
- ½ teaspoon Nutmeg
Directions
1. Preheat an oven to 350⁰F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
2. In a small bowl, whisked together the egg white, vanilla and water. Add the pecans and mix well. In a separate bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Combine both bowls, then place the spiced pecans onto the baking sheet. Bake in the oven until golden brown, around 25 minutes, making sure to stir every few minutes. Once the pecans are golden brown and dry, remove from the oven and cool for 20 minutes. Serve warm or store in a sealed container for up to one week.
