Barbeque Mullet

Ingredients (serves four people)

  • 1 1/2 pounds Mullet, cut down the back
  • Sea Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • 1 pc Shallot, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup BBQ Sauce, low sodium
  • 1 teaspoon Lime Juice

Directions

1. Place the fish in a baking pan then salt and pepper the fish. Add the remaining ingredients, making sure to coat the entire surface of the fish. Place the baking pan in the refrigerator, and allow to marinate for one hour.

2. Heat an oven to 350⁰F or prepare a grill to medium high heat.

3. Remove from the fish from the refrigerator and place in the oven or on the grill as desired. Continue to cook the fish until fully cooked, around 10 to 12 minutes. Once cooked, place on a plate and serve with a lime wedge. Serve with jasmine rice and grilled vegetables if desired.
